UX design and front-end development · Tartu, Estonia

Before code, I listen to people.

15+ years of working with young people taught me what makes people act. Now I use that to build websites and tools for companies and organisations.

What I do

For companies and organisations whose users are not IT people.

  • UX analysis and design

I find where people get stuck on your website or tool and make it clear: analysis, recommendations and designs.

  • Front-end development

React, Next.js and TypeScript. Fast, maintainable code that works on every device.

  • Accessibility

WCAG 2.1 AA reviews and fixes, so your website works for everyone and meets accessibility requirements.

I have done this before

  • CASHY

    Financial-literacy game for schools · 2021–2022

Front-end from scratch and UX testing with the founder, right in the classroom. The game reached 20,000+ young people in 8 months.

I also built the first year of the nationwide version commissioned by Swedbank.

  • Rademar

    E-commerce and internal tools · 2022–2023

Front-end for the web shop and internal tools, including a salary calculator that makes complex rules readable at a glance. I proposed UX improvements and started a shared component library.

  • Tartu County Youth Fund

Grant fund for young people · 2010–2011

I built the fund's rules, forms and review panel from scratch, so any young person could start a project without co-funding.

In 2012 the fund received the county's youth work cooperation award.

  • Winning team, Loomehäkk hackathon 2016
  • Project manager at Demola Tampere (2017)
  • 10+ years of design and photography

My story

15+ years with young people, from a 4H club to building the Tartu County Youth Fund and assessing youth workers' qualifications, taught me that a good solution starts with listening.

A master's in educational technology brought me to digital tools. I did usability reviews of youth-sector websites and built the front-end of the learning game CASHY.

Today, through HumanCentric Digital, I build websites and tools that people can actually use, for companies and organisations.

I also organise events: this is my third time on the organising team of the Digit conference, and before that I worked on Koolitants. I am also building my own product, ArtBridge, for artists (G48 Accelerator 2026). I work in Estonian and English, in Tartu, Tallinn or remotely.

How I work

  1. Listen

I talk to you and your users before I draw anything.

  2. Try it with you

A simple prototype in front of real people. Change course early, while it is cheap.

  3. Build and improve

Clear, accessible code your team can maintain.
